Yes, but from my end actually. I thought I had the ability to control the weather, and I went down this rabbithole when I read stuff about Mythicals and AWTOK from Wattpad. That place was wild, there were people claiming to be relatives of gods and were the “chosen ones” to represent mythicals in the war or some shit like that. One of them had a discord community server at one point and claimed they could “detect your mythical type” (some people tried using different accounts and they got different results each time LOL). As to how committed they are, they would listen to subliminals, practice magic every day, make designs for their desired mythical type, etc

Considering most of reddit’s comments are either one-liners and jokes, it’s not that hard to get upvotes as a bot… but how’d you spot one? I’m afraid that I didn’t learn the ability to distinguish between bot and human.

That may be the case, so I think it’s a temporary answer to this mystery. Though recently some of my comments ranging from 7 and 10 months ago (update: as of 6/19/23 my 18 days old comments are now reappearing) have been reappearing again, so it’s become a kind of a whack-a-mole situation right now.
