If any of these comes true, the worlds only hope is that allegedly the US military is more left-leaning, at least compared to the US police that is packed full of ex-KKK members and ex-skinheads.

I’m from Hungary, and we were told Fidesz won’t subvert democracy, won’t have total media control, won’t have censorship of queer media, and won’t have a “foreign agents” law. Now they’re planning with Fidesz governance until 2050 (!) at least.

Let me guess, the “responsibility” we have to take is to “double down on moving to the right”.

If there ever will be a true left-populist candidate, they can call your side “evil-for-evil-sake” and “ill intentioned”.

A lot of this are encouraged under the table. Any plans on it is usually talked rather than texed, so there will be less chance of it that it could surface, and is between the most trustworthy people.

My mother’s boyfriend often “reads” articles from more liberal-leaning news sources, and he just laughs at the buzzwords. Cannot tell what the articles were about.

The “tank” in tankie came from the support of the Soviet intervention in the Hungarian 1956 revolution, which itself had a lot of leftist elements, such as wanting to make those state owned “worker cooperatives” into real ones like they were before the 1950’s, not just state enterprises with a state-elected “factory principal” (CEO).

There’s a kind of “left”, with anti-corporate policies just as vague as what some more populist right-wingers have, if not the exact same, that is just being used to call out “hypocritical, leftist virtue signaling by corporations”, which the right just uses to paint leftist social policies as unreasonable. That “left” also just seem to have a “reappropriated” version of whatever stuff the right appropriated for itself to make their isolationist foreign policies look less far-right as their “anti-imperialist” policy.

And when it comes to class warfare, it’s just the same exact work moralist and anti-intellectualist mess the right has.

That’s why I call these people leftists in name only. They’re not funded by George Soros, but by either Russia, or some “moderate, christian-conservative” party like Fidesz, if not both.

Likely they will be spared as long as they’re doing a terrific job at hurting the left in every way possible. Fidesz actually paid off the debts of a Tankie party, now they’re one of the satellites of that far-right party.

That ‘left’ gets a hell lot of financial support, if not outright some method to organize brigading campaigns.

• unfaithful electors
• Biden lives with his new found presidental power, and does an “official act”
