Note: my experience is limited to the US medical system, so things may be different where you are. However, I definitely agree with getting wrist braces first while waiting for your appointment. Schedule an appointment with a primary care provider who can evaluate you and recommend either medications or refer you to a specialist. Often times carpal tunnel can be managed with over the counter medications, wrist braces, and avoiding the repetitive movements that exacerbate it (usually typing in today’s world). If not, then the specialist of choice is often an orthopedic surgeon that specializes in wrist and hand surgery, though there are also plastic surgeons that specialize in hand surgery as well.

Not knocking the technology at all, it really can be life-changing for people with Parkinson’s disease. But it’s been around for a while, it was approved in the US by the FDA in the late 90s. A chip is not implanted, but rather electrodes in the brain that connect to the controller elsewhere.

Yeah the big draw of custom keyboards for me was trying different switches, so hot swap was a must. I already have more switches than I need. If I could do it over again, I would have first invested in a switch tester

I have no plans to buy any more boards anytime soon. I’m not a huge fan of the taller keycap profile of the Keychron, but I’ll give it some time before considering different keycaps

It’s the 1st generation Google Pixel Stand, a wireless phone charger. Overpriced and not worth the money since I prefer wired charging to maximize battery longevity

Still deciding. I’m relatively new to the hobby so still getting a feel for different switches. I’ve only recently become a fan of linears after discovering heavy linears, and now going back to tactiles feels so crunchy. The bananas have a very light bump at the top, so once you pop through that, they just feel like smooth linears. The bump for me basically serves to prevent accidental key presses when resting my fingers on the keys.

I’m sure it’ll happen eventually, but at the moment I don’t see the big advantage to anything smaller than a 75%. It makes sense to reduce the length of a board to make more mouse space, but reducing the height (or depth I guess?) doesn’t seem as important and removes some functionality. Sure, it looks nice and compact, but form follows function

They sometimes have boats too tall to pass through along the river, but they just raise one bridge at a time to minimize traffic disruptions. Kind of a fun spectacle to see if one hasn’t seen it before

Depends on how much or little you want to use glitches. Personally, I don’t care since it’s a single player game.

There are glitches to transfer durability from one weapon or bow to another. Get a high durability item like the biggoron’s sword or lightscale trident (60 and 70 durability, respectively), and you can transfer that durability to any other weapon to make it last much longer. Can even repair durability in the same way on the fly if you keep a pristine version in your inventory. Same thing works for bow to bow durability transfer, so I have several copies of a 5 shot savage lynel bow. Let me know if you want to know more.
