What?
EEEEeeeeeeEeeeeeEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeee
My hot take about Earthbound is that the official translation kinda sucks tho. I’ve played with the official translation and the Mother 2: Perfect Edition fan translation and greatly preferred the romhack
My favorite retro game is probably Mother 1 for the Famicom. Specifically the fan translation of the GBA version. It has a cool atmosphere and challenging game play. Plus the story is pretty good for NES.
Alright, I’m gonna fire off a bunch of games for a variety of systems:
NES
SNES
N64 Imma be real with u fam. I don’t care for the N64. Don’t get me wrong it had some great titles, but most have aged like room temperature chicken. Mario 64, banjo Kazooie and the Zelda games are probably the best aged
Playstation 1
Call me shields, the way I’m getting consistently hacked
Yup, I really dig the vibes. Like a wow classic creepy pasta in a way.
I’ve seen someone play a bit of it. It defo fills the vibe. I should play it sometime
I love Front Mission 3, the music is so good too
Hard-core authoritarian communist. The kinda peeps who support Stalin and shit
Drakengard 3 emulates so well in my experience. Like on my old rig that couldn’t handle demon souls ran Drakengard 3 at a solid 60fps. I wonder if it’s because it didn’t make much use of the SPUs in the og PS3.
Been playing .Hack Infection on my PS2. It’s interesting. Good music
I largely don’t care for gacha outside of Genshin, and to be frank I more tolerate it in Genshin because I enjoy the underlying game.
I think forced stealth mechanics in games not designed for them are my pet peeve. Looking at you Witcher 2.
I really need to try Satisfactory. It looks so good
Communities are the equivalent of subreddits. Note that there are communities hosted on your instance and ones outside it. To see all of them you need to select all
I like it so far, it has a low key relaxed energy. I mostly used reddit for the smaller communities so this kinda works for me.
Yeah I can certainly understand that. There were a lot of subreddits that initially allowed memes but once it grew enough they limited or banned them to keep things on topic. Personally I try to avoid posting too many memes on non meme communities. Like I’ve posted a couple of French memes over on the Quebec sub but that was mainly because there are so few francophone communities. Honestly they are so nice over there, if you ever feel like practicing your French you should join in a conversation or two. In my experience people in Quebec are usually super friendly and understanding if your French isn’t great because they have to speak English much more often than English speakers need to speak French, so they appreciate the effort.
