Just give them more money and do both
I have it. It took years to get diagnosed and it was making me SICK. I’ve had reactions from breathing the air where they’re cooking meat. It’s no joke
Rubbing my head. I keep it buzzed and it’s 👌🏻
Usually I’m a huge champion of Wikipedia, but my guess is someone on Wikipedia not accurately converting between archaic French inches/metric/imperial
*5’6”, which was actually a little above average.
FWIW I’m almost 50… basically pre Asperger’s, etc. I was diagnosed a few years ago. Like a lot of guys my age, the people I’ve been drawn to as an adult, personally and professionally, have something going on. I stuck to my interests, had decent enough instincts about career options, and worked with people I gelled with. Consequently I’m relatively successful as a developer. Am I Ok? I deal with the same stuff as the rest of us… social burnout, masking, struggling to get chores done, guilt, yadda yadda. Most neurotypicals have their own shit going on, too. You can get to a point where you forgive yourself for being different. You have your own strengths and weaknesses. That’s it.
As a middle aged person with an adult diagnosis and a good salary… I just did whatever I thought was interesting and challenging. I’m now a senior developer. I suck at money etc, but I have a patient partner and make a decent salary. Stuff that’s easy for other people can be hard and frustrating, but I’m weirdly good at hard things.
They could be dealing with depression or something. It might not be about you at all. I try to not make assumptions.
Lol. My big brother went back to school for his comp sci degree when he was 31. He’s 60 and makes like 300k
Nope. It’s not just red meat either. It’s all mammal products and some kinds of seaweed. So no gelatin or carrageenan, which means I have to have some medicines compounded.
Although it’s only been a couple of days, I feel more connected here. You don’t have conversations on Reddit anymore unless you’re a in a small subreddit. If you don’t comment on a Reddit post within the first hour, no one sees it. It’s not about karma, it’s about engagement and community.
Everyone’s talking about Lyme disease, but I got Alpha-Gal allergy from a lone star tick. I got sick AF for a long time before an allergist finally thought to test me. I never had a tick that I let swell up with blood. A mere bite can get you.
Yeah, because it’s so morally defensible to eliminate all of the developmentally disabled and republicans.
