  • AVR is good. Though, I have the XGecu and Microchip IDE (The windows 98 looking one). It does a good job with PIC MCs. Surprised there isn’t a command compiler for Microchip ASM like CC. Someone would surely have made a linter and autocomplete for NVim as well. Anyway…

Older chips are made obsolete because of higher power consumption paired with worse performance. I am surprised it is viable to make them at all, let alone at 1,5 cents per. Obviously a lot of manufacturers clinging to old familiar roads.

Not long ago having own PCB design meant bank breaking, organ selling investment.

I really appreciate that I have proof that I am not able to make anything useful to humanity, and money is not the cause. To mineself I can be true now… 😞

  • Sure. What’s another landfill on the internet.

Step 1: Make your own “social” website.

Step 2: Prevent bots from signing in. (You really don’t want to miss this step, otherwise you’re free real estate.)

Step 3: Write your own bots that will scrape other “social” websites for content. This is to attract people before original content begins to form.

Step 4: Sell post priority and upvotes. And there you have it. Your own money generating cesspool of gradual deterioration.

That’s it. And yes… Easier said than done. Step 2 is really the hardest one. Perhaps make it obligatory to sign in with a phone number or something, cause capchas are a whole battlefield in itself. I don’t really know how hard / easy it is to get a bunch of phone numbers to use for this purpose…

  • You prepared us for this. We are already wearing black. o7

Not so funny joke aside. I created my account on “reddit exodus” days, and thought that this place has neat potential. Now that enough time has passed and the migration craze has settled, I decided it is time to see what has grown. I have to say… I am impressed. I was afraid that this place would be overrun by bots. It is ironic that on internet pages named after death, life has grown.
