If it’s anything like Australia, it’s just a matter of not using the ISP’s DNS servers. eg. Use Quad9, CF, NextDNS, etc.

Windscribe made an interactive VPN Relationship Map if you’re interested, besides listing all the connections between companies if you click on a provider it should list any publicly available cases where the logs handed over.
Pretty sure everyone will agree that you could revive the dead 😉
I set the computers DNS, not the container … so everything on the computer will use Quad9, etc.
