From launch?! That’s huge! I’ll probably buy it anyway at some point on sale if it is as good as their last.

The reminde bot lives!!!
Can’t forget homeworld 3!
Edit: I was late to the party, hw3 got pushed to 2024. So I’ll change my answer to the expense game, which comes in July.
Also, hard agree on star field, and CS2!
Edit2: armored core 6
Man, I’m so torn. I want to support them and buy but they’ve just burned a lot of good will releasing less than a 1/3 of the features they teased and for such a cost in performance.
KSP 1 has more features and can look almost as good with mods right? They’ve just bungled this so badly.
I’m waiting for them to take the cash and abandon the game. Not the same squad it was…
reported, are the mods actively removing tankie content? I would suppose since it violates the rule.
Sorry, I’m new here. Isn’t Radio Sputnik Russian state media? Which could be considered propaganda, which would break rule 3?
Also, is this some of the “tankie” content that lemmy opponents have been citing? I know this is lemmy.ml and that this may be the type of content they want here, so I hope I’m not offending anyone.
“The ongoing strike, spurred by Huffman’s plan to charge fees to third-party apps that serve up Reddit content,”
Then it goes on to talk about commercial AIs scraping reddit data through their api for deep learning for free.
But the reality is people weren’t upset about the api charge, they were upset at the exorbitant price they released. There are so many other ways to be fair and to stop commercial use if that was really an issue. Plus, I wouldn’t be surprised if reddit is being scraped without the api from the front facing website anyway.
Then, reddit double downed and spez just made a complete ass of himself. I could have done a better job as CEO, that guy is unqualified and delusional. If he stays at the helm reddit will surely sink
Amazon has been going downhill. I routinely receive items that were previously worn/returned, wrong size, knockoffs that should have been genuine ect.
More to the point, has any one read what AI writes? In my experience it’s either a lot of meaningless filler or series of internet scraped facts strung together without really any flow.
Confession: in true you know what fashion, I didn’t read the article
this is amazing, this is how to end reddit!
Idk, maybe it should be usage based. I feel like 60/yr is too much. I’d be fine with 19.99/yr but idk what they’re costs are. Otherwise, I do like the idea. Confession, I haven’t used it yet but I plan to signup and try the first 100 searches free.
5/mo is too much I think.
r/datahoarder is working on archiving everything: https://www.reddit.com/r/DataHoarder/comments/1479c7b/historic_reddit_archives_ongoing_archival_effort/
so that should be covered at least.
Same, at the time I made the comment I didn’t even realize they had pushed it back. Cut it a little close to release didn’t they?
