1 year agoI’d recommend using Piped instead https://github.com/TeamPiped/Piped
It’s more modern and doesn’t fail on 1080 or higher.

Nope, it’s just the feed of comments & posts from a community. I also find that for some communities there’s no feed. It’s really clunky for any frequent use.
Yes, I’m on mastodon and can go on any lemmy thread and comment. There are some caveats but if it’s in the fediverse it can interoperate.
Let them take over lol, see how well they manage actually working on their communities for a change :think_bread:

Yeah, and this also applies to the fediverse as I’ve recently realized. X instance on a whim de-federating with W, Y and Z is just as bad. It just makes it a PITA to be a user. Plus one would think NSFW on an open platform would be better adopted but everyone avoids it like the plague. Only lemmynsfw is out there, and blocked from many places.
I’m setting up RSS to pull all the content I want from any place.
