I visited this castle recently and it’s pretty gorgeous - a lot smaller on the inside than you’d think, and the tour basically is designed to get you in and out as fast as possible. But the view from the back windows after the tour is complete is a stunning vista worthy of a lot of photos. The walk up to the base of the castle is very picturesque, and there’s options to take a horse & carriage ride up, if you’re in a rush.

If you ever visit Munich, I highly recommend visiting as a day-trip!

And the Lurkers Guide is still online! I’ve been doing the suggested chronological-without-spoilers first time watchthrough and have been reading the guide after every episode. You can tell a lot of the scripts were planned well in advance!

Likewise - it’s only happened a few times in my life, but there have been moments in a 2k-line long SQL stored proc I inherited that I needed to print the thing off and user markers to try group code up and figure out what was happening (it was a monstrosity with no formatting or comments lol)

But yeah day to day, even year to year nobody is printing off their code to look at it - let alone only 20 lines of it lol

I wish I had the guts to play it - the anxiety I got from the water-tornados and huge vast emptiness of space, the black hole - the game did such an amazing job at giving me an overwhelming sense of dread that I had to just stop playing. I consider that a compliment towards the game lol

This is why I’ve been increasingly depressed that I love meat so much. I’ve even started feeling bad swatting at flies. Humans are egotistical in our assumption that only our way of experiencing reality is special or meaningful. Just because what we call consciousness doesn’t appear to exist in certain living beings doesn’t mean they don’t experience reality and memory in their own meaningful way we don’t understand yet.
