The reasoning it was to not confuse with .net framework 4.x series, and since they went beyond 4.x, it’s just .net now. I believe .net core moniker was to explicitly distinguish is from framework versions.

Yeah, gameplay wise, it was pretty solid. Main story was almost total blah. Season 1 dlc stories were a lot better imnsho.
The drop rate for legendaries were ridiculous, it rained legendaries everywhere, it felt un special. So, I guess, the loot rarity rates seemed a bit not-rare.
