You also have Emissary where the deflector is used to reduce the mass of the station.
My head canon at least is that impulse engines don’t work alone to drive a 700 kilotonne ship to 0.25c. The deflector uses subspace to effectively lower the mass of the ship to something capable of being driven to those spreads. Otherwise Einstein comes and fucks with you.
I think it’s a great way to get things started. People coming to check things out and seeing content are more likely to stay and create their own content.

It’s very different from most launchers, but once you get used to it really nice.
I think it’s one of those really good category of kids shows that are written with the parents in mind. If you’re going to watch something with your child it rather helps if it’s good.
