Where as it’s true that we all have to die one day. There’s no reason to make it unnecessarily gruesome. Here’s an example. Instead of dying from heatstroke because of global warming. I’d like to take a crack at peacefully in my sleep.
I wish death by snu snu!
This is also an acceptable answer!
…crushed pelvises. (Yeah!)
Personally I’m rooting for death by entropy in approximately 10^110 years, assuming we haven’t found a way to jump into newer universes by then.
Just chill and die in the sauna like the rest of us. There’s nothing we can do anyway.
(Not my actual sentiment.)
Reality is extreme. Always has been.
Don’t believe the lies. Frogs will absolutely hop out of a warming pot of water.
They’re smarter than us, you say?
Just means we’re dumber than frogs
I think I’ll fight the system by freezing myself to death!
Part of this is based on a myth that I heard a lot growing up. So I will clarify:
A frog in warming water will try to escape by any means necessary. It is aware that it is going to die. The experiment where “A frog placed in boiling water will jump out, a frog placed in lukewarm water that is raised to a boil will sit and die” is all misinformation. The experiment the idea is based on was to find the temperature that frogs die at, and all the frogs were pithed- effectively had their brains turned to goo.
Also, according to a Harvard Biology professor, Douglas Melton, the other part of the saying is also false. If you place a frog in boiling water, it won’t jump out, it’ll die.
