I am not sure what gazlighting mean. I made a mistake I was referring to the paradox of tolerance. I am not good enough in English to be sure to report it correctly. I found a Wikipedia page which may Wikipedia xplain far better than I will ever be able to. Wikipedia paradox of tolerance

this has nothing to do with free speech. I assume you’re trying to say we can’t have free speech if speech against free speech is allowed.

First of all I would like to say this isn’t a paradox: a paradox is something that is scientifically proven but still confusing. This “paradox” makes perfect sense when used in the correct context (I will get to this later) and also doesn’t have to happen (you can let someone say tolerating [specific group] is bad but still ignore them) so calling this a paradox is misleading

Allowing free speech that is even as outrageous as “all blacks should be murdered” (anyone who says this should be killed due to obvious reasons - I’m using an extreme example) isn’t really saying black people shouldn’t have free speech. Now, if someone says “blacks don’t deserve free speech” then what you are saying does apply although as I said earlier you can just ignore the person saying it (or kill anyone who says it - I wouldn’t shed a tear)

Of course as you can guess I’m not for free speech extremism but I do think we should loosen up censorship
