It amazes me how many people can find the time to bitch but can’t be bothered to read up on things.
Things like
Reading on the instance about its communities. If you don’t like this kind of thing, it seems extremely obvious that either you came here looking for memes but didn’t read the subs description, you don’t know how to use standard user-level features (see next bullet and do some googling), or you came here knowing full well what to expect but just want to bitch about it for the hell of it bc you can’t run downvote bots anymore (well, that’s fine… I’m still going to post stuff but go ahead and speak your mind as much as you like. If I get sick of listening, I am already familiar with the next bullet or it might inspire me to make some OC along similar lines 😁)
If you really hate this type of content, you don’t need your mods, Lemmy has built-in options for user-level blocking not only for other users but also for subs/communities. It is incredibly easy and the content you don’t like no longer appears for you.
