          Reading the article helps. It says the IL-22 was damaged and " tried to reach the nearest airfield, but it disappeared from the radar after the descent began".

          So you basically just provided the evidence that confirms half the story. Thanks mate!

          Everything I read about the il20 said it was hit but flew away, descending in control, so no surprise with your photo
