Whether it works or not, they aren’t making a bundle for deck users and then putting games that aren’t deck verified in it
Not deck verified, but ProtonDB rated platinum, which means they work out of the box with no problems.
A game can’t be Verified if it has small text that’s hard to read on the Steam Deck’s small screen. It could be an issue as simple as that.

You can argue they would do a Steamdeck themed bundle without verified games but saying they work isn’t arguing that
And if you did then I would direct you to the webpage that doesn’t mention Steamdeck, just says it’s for gamepads
