Has anyone ever analyzed the footage from RoTK at the Pelanor Fields to see if 6000 spears is accurate? It looks a lot more but I’m no expert.
As it turns out, King Theoden was terrible at basic math.

I’ve never really got this meme. Maybe he wanted 14000 men? 6000 is less than half
The joke is that it just happens to be barely less than half.
And also that he meant spears literally
But 6002 isn’t more than half of 14000. The original line implies he wants something around 14000-16000 ish, but the meme changes that to mean he wants almost exactly 12002.
